Packing done, van collected and pretty much ready to go! The Cisco IT team this year is Colin Seward (4th Challenge), Paul Clements (18th Challenge), Ian Pudney (1st Challenge), and Kevin O'Healy (1st Challenge). We had two changes to the Cisco team from last year in the end with Richard Parker dropping out as he was representing Britain in the Triathlon World Championships in Beijing (he came 13th so big congratulations to him) and Jason Freeth dropping out due to a broken wrist (so big commiserations to him). It's always great to see lots of new people on the Challenge each year and also to see some old faces as well. Most people stick with road bikes, but with 80 teams taking part there are normally a couple of unusual bikes in the mix as well. We've been sent a couple of sneak previews of two of the more odd looking bikes which you can see below and we'll be sure to put some more photos up when we see them on the road!
The Cahors Challenge is for teams of four to ride over 540 miles in relay from St Malo to Cahors via Saumur and Limoges leaving Portsmouth on the evening of Wednesday 28th September returning on Sunday 2nd October 2011
